Roundtable Focuses on Media Role in Developing Countryside
The roundtable dedicated to the role of mass media in implementing the tasks set
as a part of the Year of Development and Improvement of Countryside State
program was held in Jizzakh Province, the Uzbekistan National News Agency

Information and Analytical Center at the Institute for Civil Society Studies
organized the roundtable.
At the moment, two TV and radio stations, over 20 print media are operating in
the province. Due to the fact that the main part of citizens lives in the

media. Therefore, in the Year of Development and Improvement of Countryside the

according to the news agency.
